About Amelie
I am passionate about teaching flute because I believe music has the power to inspire people of all ages. With 19 years of experience, I have worked with school and college students, helping them build confidence through music.
My lessons are designed to be easy to understand and enjoyable for learners at every level. Students learn breathing control, posture, finger placement, rhythm, scales, articulation, and tone quality step by step.
One of the highlights of my career has been watching students perform proudly after months of dedicated practice. Besides flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and beginner music concepts.
My mission is to create confident musicians who continue learning with enthusiasm.

My teaching philosophy is based on helping students enjoy every stage of learning the flute. I follow the principles of Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to make each lesson educational and enjoyable.
Every lesson begins with strengthening the fundamentals, including breathing control, posture, finger technique, note reading, rhythm, and tone quality. As students improve, they continue with scales, articulation, ornamentation, improvisation, musical expression, and concert preparation.
I motivate students by recognizing every success and encouraging consistent practice. Communication is always clear and patient, making students feel comfortable asking questions. Integrity helps me provide fair, honest, and respectful guidance to every learner.
Creativity keeps lessons fresh through rhythm games, favorite songs, listening exercises, duet performances, and musical challenges. Along with flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm practice, and music appreciation.
