About Yvonne

I have seven years of experience working in primary education, particularly across Early Years and Key Stage 1. I am currently completing my Level 6 BA (Hons) in Primary Education at St Mary’s University. I have extensive classroom experience supporting children with phonics, reading, writing, spelling, maths and wider KS1 learning. I have taught phonics for several years and also have experience supporting children with SEND and adapting learning to meet individual needs. I’m passionate about helping children build confidence and making learning enjoyable, positive and achievable.

About the lesson

I offer friendly, structured and personalised tuition for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. I can support children with: • Phonics and early reading • Reading fluency and comprehension • Spelling and writing • KS1 English • KS1 Maths • Homework and additional school support • Building confidence and independence Each lesson is tailored to your child’s individual needs and pace. I use engaging activities and proven teaching approaches from my classroom experience to reinforce school learning, address gaps and build confidence. My aim is for every child to feel supported, successful and proud of their progress.
