About Amy

I am a private tutor with a background in teaching, the theatre and I currently work in an independent school. My experience as a writer and my passion for English as a subject allows me to bring enthusiasm to my teaching and an aim to inspire a love of literature in my students.

About the lesson

With English Literature, a complex set of skills is required to be successful. My process is to determine any areas that are holding the student back such as essay skills, textual understanding or an understanding of the paper itself. With a focus on skills as well as the texts themselves, my students can use their knowledge practically.
