About Eoin
I am a professional actor, director, and acting tutor with over 20 years of professional performance experience and more than 8 years teaching actors at a range of levels, from youth theatre to higher education and working professionals.
I trained at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, graduating with a BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts, including an Erasmus year at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. My training has given me a strong grounding in classical and contemporary performance, European theatre practices, and collaborative, ensemble-led work. I also hold a Certificate in Professional Puppetry from The Curious School of Puppetry, which continues to inform my physical and imaginative approach to performance.
I currently work as an Acting Tutor and Director at Emil Dale Academy, teaching across Foundation and BA degree programmes. My work includes delivering studio-based acting training aligned with conservatoire standards, leading modules in Stanislavski, Brecht, and comedy performance, directing productions, and supporting students through audition preparation and professional development.
Alongside this, I have worked extensively as a freelance acting tutor and actor coach, partnering with organisations including The Abbey Theatre (Dublin), Laine Theatre Arts, Imaginate Festival, and youth theatres across Ireland. My teaching practice is rooted in clear technique, curiosity, and creating a supportive environment where actors feel challenged but confident to take risks.
As an actor, I have worked across theatre, television, and screen, with credits including Poldark, Say Nothing, Silent Witness, BBC Arts, Druid Theatre Company, and the Almeida. This ongoing professional practice allows me to offer students current, practical insight into the realities of the industry and the demands of professional work.

I am a professional actor and experienced acting tutor with over 20 years working as an actor and 8 years teaching. I am currently an acting tutor at the Emil Dale Academy, where I work closely with actors in training to develop strong technique, confidence, and professional readiness.
My screen credits include Poldark, Say Nothing, and Silent Witness, and I bring this real-world industry experience directly into my teaching.
