About Nick
Having trained at Drama Centre I have been a professional actor for twenty years across stage, screen, radio and street theatre. I’ve performed in both commercial and subsidised theatre in the UK, West End and on Broadway, and have also been an Assistant Director. I love working with actors and helping them develop their craft. I set myself and my students high standards, as that gets the best results. The work is play, though, so it’s also meant to be enjoyable!

Looking to get into Drama School or working on professional audition material? I can help you find details and specificity in your acting, in an encouraging and playful manner. I know what schools look for as I see scores of audition tapes as a panel member for the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and can also get you ready for recalls. I tailor each session to your needs and help select material which will show you at your best.

I had the privilege of working with Nick while he was assistant director on a project we were working on. He was also able to help advise me with some audition speeches. Nick is very reassuring, thoughtful and welcoming, while also providing brilliant advice and guidance. His advice is very clear and insightful, and his approach is very supportive and encouraging. I can’t recommend Nick enough.
