About Sanjana
Being an introvert, acting gave me the courage to explore my hidden talents and perform with confidence, and I know it can help you too. Hey there, I’m a passionate actress with a diploma in Theater and Acting, along with experience in Direction. I have worked in theater, short films, and ad shoots, and I truly believe acting is a beautiful way to express yourself and grow in confidence. My goal is to help each student unlock their creativity, improve their stage presence, and find their unique style as a performer. I pay attention to individual strengths and guide you step by step with honest feedback and practical tips. My approach combines practical acting techniques with traditional Indian Theater methods. These classes are ideal for school students, college learners, or adults who want to develop acting skills, prepare for auditions, or simply explore the dramatic arts. 1. Practical exercises: Warm-ups, voice modulation, body language, and theatre/improvisation games.
2. Script work: Script analysis, scene breakdown, and character development.
3. Performance: Monologue practice, dialogue delivery, and stage presence.
4. Feedback: Constructive feedback and individual guidance for improvement.
My classes blend modern acting exercises with traditional Indian theatre methods to help students become expressive, confident performers.
I include elements inspired by Natyashastra, such as the Navarasa (the nine emotions) to help students understand how to convey different moods and feelings naturally.
We work on abhinaya (expression), angika (body language and gestures), vachika (voice and speech), and aharya (costume awareness if needed).
Students practise improvisation, monologues, and scenes with a focus on using facial expressions, hand gestures (mudras), and posture — just like in Indian classical theatre and folk drama.
Each class starts with body and voice warm-ups, breathing exercises, and movement practices drawn from both Indian and Western theatre traditions.
My goal is to create a supportive space where students can explore their creativity, develop confidence, and connect with our rich Indian dramatic roots.
Classes are suitable for kids, teens, or adults who want to learn acting for stage, camera, or auditions.
