About Devon
I am an academic artist with 5 years of professional training and 8 years of experience in the illustration industry as a comic artist/general freelancer!
I have studied at:
Grand Central Atelier
Watts Atelier for the Arts
and worked with numerous masters of painting and drawing
I have also been accepted into Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design, so I can help with portfolio prep aswell!

Hey, I'm Devon- I am a Proffessional Artist working in Queens NY with around 8 years of industry experience.
As a teacher and an artist I really believe in students learning foundational skills before going off to create their own work whatever that may be!

As an artist who spent a lot of time trying to get skills but ultimately getting nowhere because I did not have the proper guidance. I am fully committed to helping students improve in whatever they want to work on regardless of age or skill level!
Every student is different so it's hard to develop a one size fits all curriculum- we can chat about goals, medium, homework etc. during the 1hr free lesson
I try my best to teach universal skills that can be practiced on their own, and simple easy to understand rules that can be applied with great success.
