About Zavadska
I am a visual artist based in the Toronto area, working primarily with watercolor, coloured inks, and mixed media. My artistic practice is inspired by architecture, urban spaces, everyday surroundings, and the stories connected to places. I have a Master’s degree in Architecture and Town Planning and several years of experience in architecture, which strongly influences my approach to drawing, perspective, composition, and visual storytelling.
Today, I focus on my art practice and enjoy sharing my experience with others through drawing and watercolor lessons. I believe art should be an enjoyable and personal process, and I love helping students discover their own creative voice and confidence.

My lessons are personalized, practical, and focused on helping students develop confidence in drawing and watercolor at their own pace. I teach fundamental drawing techniques, composition, perspective, line work, color, watercolor techniques, and urban sketching. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s experience and interests.
A typical lesson begins with a short demonstration and explanation of the technique, followed by guided practice and individual feedback. I encourage students to experiment, develop their own visual style, and enjoy the creative process rather than focusing only on making a “perfect” drawing.
My background in architecture and my experience as a professional visual artist allow me to combine an understanding of structure, perspective, and composition with an expressive and creative approach.
Lessons are suitable for beginners, adults, and anyone who wants to improve their drawing or watercolor skills, explore urban sketching, or simply make time for creativity.
