About Olga
Hi,
I know choosing a tutor can be a daunting task. I would like to make it as easy and painless as possible. A little bit about myself. I am a costume designer for film and television. I've also tutored throughout my career because I genuinely enjoy teaching. I have benefited so much from impactful educators in my life, it's important for me to do the same. I think learning how to make art really teaches you to look at the world differently. As a costume designer I've learned to be very malleable based on the director or actor I am working with. I take the same approach with tutoring, shifting my approach in order to bring out the best in students.

I like to structure my lessons in a way that makes art accessible. I can make students feel comfortable so that the idea of looking at a blank page is not intimidating! We'll start with a conversation about a students goals and I can tailor each curriculum based on objectives and skill levels. We can focus on color theory, simple drawing techniques and fashion illustrations. So much of art is about confidence. My key objective is to make students feel like they can follow their own voice!
