About Arvy
Hi everyone, my name is Arvy. A professional English teacher and IELTS specialist from Canada with over six years of teaching experience, both online and in person.
Over the years, I haven’t just studied how English is spoken in real-life English-speaking communities — I’ve carefully analyzed language exams and test questions as well.
This means I understand both sides: what you need to communicate confidently in real academic and everyday environments, and what examiners are specifically looking for in high-scoring answers.
One thing that makes my lessons different is that I don't teach random tips or memorized answers. I teach clear techniques that are directly based on the examiner criteria — the exact things examiners are actually listening and looking for. In order to succeed in IELTS, you not only need to understand the test structure, but also know which techniques and answers actually get you a high score.
I’ve also studied and lived in Canada for over two years, which has given me a strong understanding of how academic English is used in real-life academic settings.
I always adapt each lesson to you — your level, your goals, and what you personally struggle with.
Most of my students are aiming for Band 7 or higher, and we focus on practical strategies that help you sound more confident, more organized, and more natural — without overthinking.
