About Riley
Music has been an important part of my life, and for the past 7 years I have enjoyed sharing that passion by teaching flute to school and college students. I believe every student has the ability to learn when lessons are patient, encouraging, and well organized.
My classes begin with breathing exercises, posture, finger placement, rhythm, scales, and tone development. As students improve, I help them understand articulation, musical expression, dynamics, and performance techniques. I encourage learners to practice with confidence and enjoy every stage of their progress.
One of my proudest achievements has been watching students perform successfully and become independent musicians. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, music appreciation, beginner improvisation, and concert preparation.
My goal is to help students become skilled musicians while developing confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My goal is to help students enjoy learning the flute while building confidence and technical excellence. My teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create meaningful learning experiences.
Students first master breathing control, posture, rhythm, finger placement, note reading, and tone production. Advanced lessons include articulation, scales, musical expression, dynamics, improvisation, and stage confidence.
Motivation inspires students to practice regularly with enthusiasm. Communication remains clear, friendly, and supportive. Integrity helps me create an environment where students feel respected, encouraged, and motivated.
Creative teaching includes familiar songs, rhythm games, listening sessions, duet playing, ear training, improvisation, and music appreciation. Besides flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and concert preparation.
