About Jonathan
Over 30 yrs of experience performing music onstage for different artists both here and abroad.
Originally from the Philippines, Jonathan AKA johnny blues, has shared the stage with different artists coming from different styles and genres.
He was a member of various pioneer blues bands during the 90s blues revival in Manila, Philippines. And then partnered with famous filipino songwriter Paco Arespacochaga in both SKiN and Introvoys playing their own brand of top 40 originals during the new millenium.
And he moved on to write and record with First Circle and Randy Santiago.
This is all while he was holding the main guitar instructor position in Yamaha School of Music--one of the largest music schools in the Philippines.
He migrated to the States in 2005, where he continued to play with various musicians and artists in Seattle, Los Angeles, NYC and Las Vegas, Nevada.
