About John
I'm 38 and I have taught guitar for 13 years for young and older players to advance their playing and keep it simple and fun with the goals in mind. I like to learn what people like for a cover song as a goal after the basic fundamentals have been reached to obtain the medium level of playing.

Excellent! Good teacher
Perfect! Great first lesson. John met me where I was and, in one lesson, showed me a few ways to take some big leaps. Looking forward to making some progress and learning more!
- Kevin has a good sense of rhythm we just need to focus on some single picking arpeggios scales and different techniques and chord voicing to enrich his playing and technical skills.John's response :
Perfect! John is down to earth and such a nice person. My high school son wanted to learn how to play the electric guitar. He takes weekly lessons with John, really enjoys it and looks forward to seeing him.
- He did very well, I was impressed with his ability to play single notes but chord rhythms will need improvement with the basic fundamentals that will round out his playing. Another lesson this week.John's response :
