Mr. Monack fell in love with teaching others when he was asked by his college professor to become an Economics tutor. He served as a tutor for two years then realized after graduation there was a void in his life. He filled it by coaching youth soccer and basketball for six years in his local community. Mr. Monack's patience and love for teaching provide him with the appropriate temperament to work with any student. Mr. Monack's approach to teaching involves a three-step process known as the "Monack Instructional Method"
1) Concepts, theory, processes, and definitions are presented in a clear, coherent manner through a lecture that engages the five senses by utilizing the following: verbal communication, written text, diagrams, tables, pictures, and videos.
Students are given the ability to ask questions and obtain feedback.
2) Example problems or questions are performed together between the instructor and pupils, where the instructor leads, but engages the students through sharing the approach and thought process with the students.
Students have the opportunity to ask questions and obtain feedback.
3) Students attempt practice problems/questions independently.
Students have the opportunity to ask questions and obtain feedback.
