About Grace
I received my art degree in 2016 from North Central College in conjunction with the Lasalle College of Art and Design in Singapore. This blend of schools provided me with classical and contemporary approaches to art ed as well as a specialization in comic arts.
I taught elementary and middle school art for four years, as well as teaching adult and teen community classes throughout. In this time I developed teaching and pedagogical experience.
I have worked continually since graduating as a professional illustrator and freelance commission based artist.

I provide art lessons for ages 8 and up, personalized for your individual interests and goals. These lessons typically include a mixture of age-appropriate art theory as well as practical skills development, to help you master what interests you.
I specialize in traditional fine arts, graphite, ink, and painting (watercolor, acrylic, and oil). My training specifically includes figure drawing, illustration, and comic arts. I also have experience with more modern and contemporary approaches.
I have extensive experience working with elementary age children as well as teens and adults and love to share the arts!
