About Aaron
I have been a full-time musician for nearly seven years. I studied privately with guitar masters in Montreal and learned jazz the way the musicians of old did--not through school, but through listening, watching, playing and absorbing.
I have experience in a wide variety of styles, including rock, jazz, country, and blues. I have performed at everything from major music festivals to private birthday parties.
What I can teach you most about the guitar isn't licks, scales, or chords (though I can do that too), but an approach to learning the instrument that will last you a lifetime.

I tailor my lessons to the needs of each individual student and offer a kind, relaxed and supportive environment.
In our first lesson, I'll assess what your skill level is and what your goals are, whether that's learning your first chord, learning how to improvise, or diving into theory and jazz harmony. From there, we can build a plan to help reach your goals.
One size doesn't fit all, and the most important thing to remember when learning guitar is to have fun. There are MANY different approaches to learning an instrument, and different approaches work for different people :)
For serious/experienced musicians, I can also offer my expertise in forming a band, bandleading, gig booking and other parts of the "business side" of playing music.
