About Victoria
I eat, sleep and breathe singing, music, songwriting and performance. It is who I am and the only thing I have ever done professionally. I love sharing my knowledge and passion with others. I have a wealth of experience to draw on when coaching and am still very much an active, gigging musician. The advice and training you will receive from me is field-tested, relevant and well-researched. I have been told by students many times that I put them at ease immediately, so if you are nervous about singing lessons, don't be...I've got you!

I am a professional vocalist and songwriter and have been teaching for over 14 years now. I have a 1st class BA Hons degree in Music Performance and was originally classically trained, passing my Grade 8 with distinction in my teens. I have toured worldwide as a vocalist and recorded on many albums and commercials as a session singer. These days I mostly sing jazz professionally, but still teach many other styles, including classical.
My lessons are always tailored to your goals and not formulaic. What I do always insist on however, is establishing a safe and stable foundation for your voice, to keep it healthy. Fundamental techniques such as breathing, posture and support are key for every singer and I base my methods on proper scientific research and frequent CPD. This is especially important with children/young people and busy working professionals/semi-professionals. Sessions are typically 1hr, but can be shorter for younger singers with shorter attention spans! I teach all ages, abilities and most styles...but I'm a jazz specialist.
