About Adam

Hi! I'm Adam, a professional pianist, musical director and recording studio owner based in South East London.

I studied at the **Guildhall School of Music & Drama** and the **London Centre of Contemporary Music**, developing a strong musical background across classical, contemporary and popular music.

Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with singers, actors and musical theatre performers, helping them develop their musical skills, prepare for auditions and perform with confidence.

I also run **The Accompanist Studios** in London, where I work with professional performers, recording music and creating vocal showreels.

My experience as both a pianist and accompanist has given me a practical understanding of music, from reading sheet music and playing by ear to improvisation, harmony and accompanying singers.

**As a teacher, I believe music should be enjoyable, accessible and tailored to the individual.**

Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, develop your technique, understand music theory or become confident accompanying yourself, I'll help you achieve your goals in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

**My aim is simple: to help you become a confident, independent musician while enjoying the process of learning.**

About the lesson

**Piano Lessons for All Ages & Abilities — Beginners to Advanced**

Whether you're learning piano for the first time, returning after a break, or looking to develop your existing skills, my lessons are tailored to you.

I'm a professional pianist and musician based in London, with extensive experience working with singers, performers and musicians.

My approach is **relaxed, friendly and practical**, helping you build confidence while making genuine progress at your own pace.

**What you can learn:**

**Piano technique** — Develop coordination, finger strength and confidence at the keyboard.

**Reading sheet music** — Learn to read and understand music, even if you're a complete beginner.

**Chords and accompaniment** — Learn to play your favourite songs, understand chord progressions and accompany yourself or others.

**Musical theatre and contemporary music** — Ideal for singers and performers wanting to improve their musicianship.

**Music theory** — Understand scales, keys, harmony and rhythm in a way that makes sense.

**Playing by ear** — Develop your listening skills and musical independence.

**My teaching approach**

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some students want to learn classical pieces, others want to play pop songs, accompany themselves singing or simply enjoy making music.

We'll work towards *your* goals, combining practical playing with the theory and techniques that will help you progress.

Lessons are available online, so you can learn from the comfort of your own home.

**No pressure, no intimidating teaching methods — just enjoyable, personalised lessons designed to help you become a more confident pianist.**
