About Peter
My name is Peter and I live in South Africa. I am a professional photographer with many years of experience in both film and digital photography. I have worked in studios, on locations and in the field doing everything from food photography, product photography, weddings and events, wildlife, sport, still life and a few others. I worked for Kodak Professional for a number of years as Country Business Manager in South Africa and was the founder and managing director of my own photographic and imaging company. I am passionate about the photographic art as well as teaching anybody who has an interest in photography...whether that be as a hobby or those wishing to pursue it as a career or simply those wishing to learn how to use their camera. I look forward to helping YOU !

Lessons begin with features of cameras, the various settings and modes, lenses and accessories. The course then moves on to photographic theory, such as reciprocity - the relationship between aperture and shutter speed and the effect that they have on your image capture. At this point you will have a good understanding of how to get the best from your camera and how to capture the image you desire. The course then focuses on the artistic side of photography...image composition, balance, color theory etc. The student is then introduced to Photoshop and other systems.
