About Vikas
Professional saxophonist and flautist with 30+ years of stage experience and 25 years of teaching. My performance career spans luxury hotel residencies (Hyatt Regency, InterContinental, The Claridges), diplomatic engagements at the US Embassy New Delhi and the British High Commission, and corporate events for clients such as Biocon and Jubilant over 3,300 live shows across India, the Middle East and beyond.
As a teacher I have guided 100+ students across India and overseas, including civil servants, doctors, engineers, lawyers and entrepreneurs. I teach Alto, Tenor and Soprano Saxophone, metal Flute, along with harmonium and light vocal music. My focus is on giving each student a strong foundation and the confidence to actually play the music they love whether that's Bollywood, Western or instrumental.

Lessons are structured and adapted to every level, from complete beginners to advanced players looking to refine their tone and technique. We cover embouchure, breath control and long tones, key identification, major and minor scales, and playing over both Bollywood and Western setups.
My approach is practical — you start making music early, and most students are comfortably playing recognisable songs and melodies within their first few weeks of regular practice. First class is free so we can understand your goals and design a plan around them.
