About Silvère
I am now a researcher in computer science and mathematics. After preparing for the competitive exams for the major engineering schools (CPGE), I joined the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS Ulm). During my studies at ENS, I became interested in many other disciplines (including economics, psychology, literature, history, philosophy, science), which gives me an open mind and a fine understanding of other mindsets and allows me to adapt my teaching according to my students, for a better quality. In addition, I am professor (agrégé) and participated in various professional teaching activities (including writing answers for CPGE, oral interrogations in prep school (CPGE), private lessons of various levels), in particular at the university (tutorial in mathematics) during my PhD thesis.

I adapt my teaching method according to my students. Unless specifically requested, I take as support standard exercises of the level requested (up to the preparation of the competitive examinations of the grandes écoles), which allows to assess the level of the student: his/her understanding of the concepts involved, his/her general understanding of the mathematics, the type of psychological difficulty faced with an exercise to be solved. For some the difficulties are more psychological, and in this case I focus my course on the state of mind to adopt and simple methods to improve. For others it is about targeted difficulties, and I focus the course on an explanation of the target concepts using other simpler exercises and targeted explanations. Using my broad scientific culture, I can adapt the exercises according to the interests of the student.
