About Chloe
My passion for programming began in my teenage years, when I realised that small logical steps could be combined to create meaningful, functional software. This inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering, building a strong foundation in programming principles, algorithms, and software development. Over 10 years, I have taught students at all levels, helping them develop practical coding skills, logical reasoning, and confidence in tackling challenging problems.
I follow a hands-on, student-focused teaching approach, combining step-by-step explanations, interactive exercises, real-world projects, and conceptual discussions. I encourage independent thinking, curiosity, and creative problem-solving while ensuring structured support for consistent progress.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with emerging technologies, coding languages, and software development trends. Integrating these insights into lessons keeps them relevant, stimulating, and meaningful. Watching students grow from hesitant beginners to confident coders capable of building their own projects is immensely rewarding and motivates my continued commitment to teaching programming.

My programming lessons are designed to help students build a strong foundation while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and logical thinking. I cover Python, Java, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, debugging, and software design principles. Lessons combine clear explanations, practical coding exercises, projects, and applied examples, ensuring learners understand both the “how” and the “why” behind coding concepts. I create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and curiosity is nurtured.
Beginners start with variables, loops, conditions, functions, and basic problem-solving, building confidence and familiarity. Intermediate learners explore algorithms, data structures, modular programming, file handling, and project-based exercises. Advanced learners focus on optimisation, complex algorithms, APIs, software design patterns, and coding challenges. Each lesson includes guided exercises, debugging strategies, and conceptual reinforcement to ensure skill acquisition and independent problem-solving abilities.
Programming education fosters analytical thinking, structured reasoning, and creativity. Students develop confidence in approaching challenges methodically, designing efficient solutions, and applying coding skills to real-world tasks. My goal is to help learners become independent, capable programmers who enjoy exploring technology, building solutions, and continuously improving their skills.
