About Sarah
I am a multidisciplinary artist in the Austin community with knowledge spanning several areas of study from performance, film, motion graphics, design, and textiles. I have taught in several capacities from children age 2 to adults age 70. Each have come away with a new understanding of their work, a deeper connection with their goals, and new techniques in which to reach them.

I approach each student based on their ultimate goal. The first step to good teaching is understanding what the main goal is, and how each student has arrived at that goal. If the issue is technical, we look into the programs and equipment they are using and walk through a few different ways of arriving at the desired result. If the issue is conceptual or more broad in relation to the overall project, we sit back and collect an impartial analysis, provide constructive critique, and brainstorm solutions.

Minimum request: One full hour, the first full hour of your first class will be 50% off.
Missed class policy: If I have traveled and you are 15 minutes late, I will assume you have chosen not to show up. You will still be responsible for the full bill. If we have agreed on a time to chat via webcam and you are 15 minutes late, I will assume you have chosen not to show up and you will be responsible for the full bill.
Cancellation policy: At least 48 hrs in advance.
In the event of my absence for a class we have scheduled, I will refund you 100%.
