About Laurie
Hello! I'm Laurie, and I'm excited to help you build confidence in your English speaking skills.
With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and years of experience as an elementary and middle school substitute teacher, I understand how people learn and adapt to each student's unique style. I've traveled extensively and worked with people from cultures around the world, so I'm comfortable with different accents and cultural backgrounds.
As a mother of four adult children, I bring patience and the ability to explain things clearly. I genuinely enjoy meeting people and learning about your goals and interests. Whether you're preparing for work, travel, exams, or simply want to improve your conversational English, I'm here to support you.
My teaching style is relaxed and encouraging. I believe the best way to improve is through natural conversation about topics that matter to you. I'll gently correct errors and help you sound more confident.
