About Lea
I am punctual, dedicated, and motivated. I learn from my students just as much as I teach them, therefore this isn’t just a job for me…it’s meaningful and important life work. It’s never just about passing a test or writing a paper, it’s about gaining confidence and appreciation for new things, and enriching the quality of both our lives.

I am easy to talk to, compassionate, great at meeting people where they’re at, and I have a wonderful sense of humor. I understand the anxiety that stems from struggling with a class/test/paper all too well, and I love getting to know my students, then tailoring their lessons just for them. Everyone has a light inside of them, and sometimes we all need a little help shining as brightly as we are capable of.

Details
I have written hundreds of articles for various websites, ranging in topics from dental hygiene, to wine country travel, to serious mental health and addiction issues. I am a voracious reader, and am confident in my ability to tackle any reading or writing challenges one is facing. My empathy and humor, as well as my own challenges with anxiety around school, make me approachable and fun to work with.
