About Simi
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students feel capable, calm, and confident in subjects that once felt overwhelming. Teaching has always come naturally to me, and through my experience supporting primary, SEND, GCSE, and A-level learners, I’ve seen how much difference patient, structured guidance can make. As a Psychology student with an A* at A-level and Grade 9 in GCSE English, I’m passionate about breaking topics down clearly, building understanding step by step, and creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. Tutoring allows me to combine my academic strengths with my desire to help young people grow and seeing their confidence improve is the reason I love what I do.

My tutoring approach is warm, structured, and confidence-focused. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, using active discussion, visual aids, and exam-style practice to make complex ideas clear and memorable. Sessions usually last one hour, divided into short, focused sections for explanation, practice, and feedback. I hold an A* in A-level Psychology and Grade 9 in GCSE English, and I’m currently studying Psychology at university, with experience supporting primary, SEND, GCSE, and A-level learners. My lessons suit students aged 6-18, especially those who benefit from calm, step-by-step guidance and structured confidence-building.
