About Anastasia
English and writing have always been my passion! When I look at a piece of literature or essay, I truly dissect it in a way that leaves no room for error. My essays and school work have been used for incoming students as examples of "well written" texts and my background in psychology makes me look at a text from an analytical and unique lens. I truly enjoy to dive deep into any material and understand the essence of what is being written or read.

I take a specific and unique approach with every student based on their needs depending on what the focus of the session is on. My main goal is to engage the student in an interactive and productive way so that they enjoy and understand what they are learning. A typical lesson will be consistent of reviewing the material that needs to be assisted with, interactive worksheets and assignments, and in-depth explanations of the topic at hand. What sets me apart from other tutors is my background in psychology- I enjoy taking a unique one-to-one approach to each student because I believe that every individual learner is special and unique in their own, with their own set of capabilities and strengths. My lessons are for students for any grade level, specifically middle and high school, with a more extensive approach for college students.
