About Tyler
I am a dedicated emergency services educator and the Director of a thriving emergency services education institute in central Pennsylvania. With certifications as an EMT, rescue technician, firefighter, search and rescue EMT, nationally Certified Ambulance Coder, and certified large-scale exercise and skills evaluator, I have built my career around advancing public safety education and preparing the next generation of responders. Over the years, I have taught more than 6,000 students ranging in age from 14 to 80, creating training programs, developing entire education institutes, and guiding learners through complex clinical, operational, and administrative topics. My expertise spans EMS instruction, emergency agency management, medical billing and coding, policy writing, and exam preparation for the NREMT and other national certifications. I am known for my ability to make difficult concepts clear, practical, and approachable, using real-world examples and scenario-based learning to build confidence and competence in every student. Whether I am teaching a classroom of new EMTs, mentoring adult learners advancing their careers, or developing public education initiatives across multiple communities, I am passionate about helping others reach their goals and succeed in the emergency services field. At my core, I am committed to professional growth—both for myself and for the people I teach. With more than 400 additional continuing education certifications and a strong foundation in instructional design, I continuously expand my skills to ensure my students receive the highest-quality education possible.
