About Audrey
I believe that positivity and reassurance are key in helping with a student's ability to believe in themselves. Believing you can learn is the first step in accomplishing your goal of learning. I also know that sometimes it takes baby steps before you can make leaps. All people can learn, they may not be able to all learn in the same way, but it is up to the teacher to teach to the way you learn.

I started teaching in 2000, so I have 26 years of experience! I have taught three-year-olds up to adult ages. I can work with older kids who are struggling to read or do basic math. I can teach phonics and kids with dyslexia. I teach in a way that the next lesson will build on the lesson before. I like to use a scaffolding approach so that the student is spiraling back to what has already been taught before moving on to a new concept.
