About Frank
I’m Frank, a published writer with an MFA in Creative Writing and professional experience in fiction, screenwriting, and teaching. I’ve worked with writers at a wide range of levels, from beginners exploring creative writing for the first time to advanced students refining work for workshops, submission, or long-term projects.
My background combines formal literary training with real-world writing practice. I focus on helping students understand the craft of storytelling—character, structure, dialogue, voice, and revision—so they can write with greater clarity and confidence. I believe strong writing comes from both creative intuition and a solid grasp of technique, and I help students develop both.
I take a thoughtful, organized, and supportive approach to teaching. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that means generating new material, revising existing work, or building skills over time. I value professionalism, clear communication, and creating a space where students feel comfortable taking creative risks.
My goal is not only to help students improve individual pieces of writing, but to help them grow as writers who understand their own process and strengths.

I’m a published writer with an MFA in Creative Writing and professional experience in fiction, screenwriting, and teaching. I work with students who want to develop their voice, strengthen their storytelling skills, and gain confidence in their writing, whether they’re just starting out or preparing work for workshops, submissions, or advanced study.
My teaching approach is supportive, practical, and craft-focused. I help students with character development, plot, dialogue, scene construction, and revision, while also encouraging experimentation and creative risk-taking. I believe writing improves fastest when students understand why something works, not just what to fix.
I’ve taught and mentored writers in academic and one-on-one settings, and I’m especially good at helping students move from ideas to finished drafts. I welcome students of all backgrounds and goals, including those seeking to become professional writers, hobbyists, college students, and adults getting into or returning to creative work.
Sessions can be tailored to your needs—generative writing, close reading, critique, or long-term project development. My goal is to help you write with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
