About Yas
I am currently a PhD student in Liverpool, and undertaking a visiting graduate studentship in Vermont.
I am published and have presented papers at 5 conferences across Europe during my study. As well as my academic achievements, I have extensive professional experience both in hospitality and the legal sector. This breadth has developed me professionally, but also developed my ability to adapt and communicate in different environments.

I regularly have to synthesize research from different disciplines in my own PhD, so I appreciate the importance of accessibility and simplicity when communicating and relating concepts. My approach, therefore, emphasizes communicating difficult ideas by condensing them into relatable and intuitive illustrations. In order to do this, it is important for me to get to know the student as a person, what it is that motivates them to learn and how they relate to new information to make it stick.
My lessons would plan around specific targets, covering essential curriculum requirements as requested by the student, and assessing independently produced work in order to measure their progress on a regular basis.
My lessons can be adapted for any level of study and curiosity as required (up to MA level).
