About Prajitchandar
I’m Prajitchandar, a patient, results-driven tutor who believes clarity beats complexity. I turn confusing ideas into simple steps, then guide you from a worked example to confident, independent problem-solving. Students describe my sessions as “calm, structured, and motivating”—you’ll always know what to focus on next and why it matters. I study Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence at Purdue University, and I bring that training directly into our lessons: precise reasoning, clean explanations, and practical problem-solving habits. I’ve supported learners across high school and college—boosting grades, sharpening test performance, and building portfolio-ready projects. My approach is professional and data-driven: we set measurable goals, track progress, and adjust quickly based on your results.

Teaching method & techniques
Diagnose first, then teach. I start with a quick skills scan or a few targeted questions to pinpoint strengths, gaps, and misconceptions.
Socratic guidance. I ask short, pointed questions so you do the thinking; I only step in with mini-explanations or worked examples when a nudge isn’t enough.
Worked examples → faded steps. We solve one together, then I gradually remove scaffolds until you can do it solo.
Error analysis. We turn mistakes into checklists and patterns (“if I see X, try Y”) to prevent repeats.
Spaced + mixed practice. You’ll get a light, high-yield practice plan that revisits old skills and mixes problem types to build transfer.
Metacognitive tools. Brief reflection at the end: What clicked? What still feels fuzzy? What’s the one thing to practice this week?
Visual + concrete first. Where possible I use diagrams, timelines, or small code/data demos before abstract rules or proofs.
