About Alexandria
I am a sophomore at Purdue University where I am pursuing a degree in Neurobiology and Physiology with a Minor in Food and Nutrition and am a member of the Honors College. I have lots of experience working with kids and was a tutor throughout high school for both kids and my peers.

When teaching I do my best to make sure the student understands the concept entirely. For math based questions this includes example problems, guided practice, and then individual practice for the student. For more difficult concepts, I try to break them down so that they seem simpler, then I focus on putting the pieces together. Finally, if the primary methods of instruction don't work I will find other resources like websites and videos that may help to explain the concept in a different way that makes sense to the student.
