About Anushka
I am an undergraduate student in Sociology honors from Calcutta University. I did my schooling from St Thomas Girls School, Kidderpur I scored a total of 96/100 in my ISC in sociology and a total of 91% in my boards.

To teach primary students/KIDS, I tend to adapt play and learn techniques. I approach a class trying to first understand the student's level of expertise or hold over a particular subject or concept. I believe in rapport building with the students, teaching them concepts not just to score marks. When I am aware of the areas in which a student is well-versed and where they stumble, I accordingly pitch my class discussions. I like to use ideas from everyday life that would orient the student comfortably toward a complex concept or theory. I further want them to develop an interest in the subject and the idea of learning as a whole. I ensure complete clarification of a concept within the student's mind before a class is completed and suggest readings accordingly. After classes, I guide students through ways in which they can approach or think of a particular question and answer them keeping keywords and necessary explanations in mind. Thank you, Anushka Nag.
