About Leith
I am currently studying a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand despite being raised in the Western Cape. I was in a hostel for 5 years and I gave many late night emergency tutoring sessions to my peers. I love Physics and Math because I see it as a tool to understand the natural world around us. I will likely put more effort than I should into ensuring your academic performance. I am extremely patient and I take pride in your marks and see them as a reflection of my competence as a teacher.

My lessons can be expected to change as I become more acclimated to your specific learning styles (whether that be kinaesthetic, auditory, or visual) and as I become more aware of how well you know the work. I do my best to tie the subject to its real-world relevance and to your interests. Lessons will, ideally, include practice problems with specific areas of solutions being examined. You will have to think! but my lessons will be nowhere near as stressful as an exam. I teach in English and I can teach any level of Maths and Science all the way up to Matric. I prefer to teach high-performing students that are keen to achieve more than just an A.
