About Nefesa

With over 16 years of teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), I am committed to delivering high-quality mathematics education that is both engaging and effective. My experience teaching in diverse educational settings, including Oxford Spires Academy and Greyfriars Catholic High School, has equipped me with proven strategies to support students of all abilities. I create a structured, supportive, and interactive learning environment, ensuring that each student gains confidence in their mathematical skills. My professionalism, patience, and dedication help students feel reassured and motivated to succeed. Through clear explanations, personalised guidance, and consistent feedback, I empower students to approach mathematics with confidence and achieve their full potential.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring and teaching mathematics is student-centred, engaging, and adaptable to individual learning needs. I break down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps, ensuring students build a strong foundation before progressing. I use real-life examples, visual aids, and hands-on activities to make learning more engaging, while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By fostering a positive and supportive environment, I help students gain confidence, ask questions freely, and learn from mistakes. I also provide structured revision, exam practice, and continuous feedback to track progress and ensure academic success. My goal is to make mathematics accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for all students.
