About Joni
I am a creative Science and Biology teacher from a neuroscience background who adores my subject and seeing young people flourish and succeed. I have my own 3 small children so am taking a break from the full-time classroom and to tutor 1:1. While coming from a human biology background, I have grown a love of environmental biology and am a nature enthusiast!

My lessons are completely tailored to the needs of my tutees. With experience over 2 decades in high achieving schools, schools for additional learning needs, educational projects and private tuition, I am able to find the barriers to achievement and have a host of tools I can use to enable learners to overcome them. I have an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum, exam structure and marking guidelines which enables me to equip learners effectively. I have a multitude of resources which meet different learning needs, and am confident in my ability to teach the skills and knowledge needed to achieve exam success.
