About RAHUL

About Me – Your Friendly & Experienced English, History, International Relations & Political Science Tutor
Hi! I’m Rahul, and for the last 9 years I have been helping students fall in love with subjects that many find difficult or boring: English, History, International Relations and Political Science.
I hold a Master’s degree in Political Science with International Relations from one of India’s top central universities and a Bachelor’s in History (Hons). My academic journey gave me a rock-solid foundation in these subjects, but what truly shaped me as a teacher are the hundreds of students I’ve guided—from Class 4 children who were scared of essay writing to college students preparing for UPSC, CLAT, university exams, or even job interviews that demand strong communication and analytical skills.
I have taught more than 600 students online (many of them for 2–4 years continuously), and I still stay in touch with most of them. Several of my school students now score 90+ in English and Social Science in CBSE/ICSE boards, and quite a few college-level students have cracked DU entrances, UPSC optionals, and international relations interviews at places like the UN Young Professionals Programme and think tanks.
What you can expect from me:

Crystal-clear concepts explained with real-life examples, maps, timelines, news clippings and movie references (no rote learning, ever)
Patient, encouraging and judgment-free teaching—even if you currently hate these subjects or feel you are “weak” in them
Regular notes, mind-maps, quizzes and recorded classes so you never miss anything
Personalized study plans that match your school/college syllabus or competitive exam needs
100% professional approach: classes always start and end on time, proper feedback after every session, and make-up classes whenever you need them

I genuinely believe every student can master these subjects and actually enjoy them. My job is to make that happen for you—one fun, interactive class at a time.
Looking forward to helping you shine!
Rahul

I teach English to students from Class 4 all the way up to graduates (and even working adults who want to improve their communication), so my approach changes with the age and goal of the student, but the core philosophy stays the same: make English fun, practical and confidence-building rather than just another boring subject.
My teaching method is 100% activity-based and conversation-driven. I believe children and adults both learn language the same way they learned their mother tongue – by listening, speaking, making mistakes and then correcting them naturally. So grammar is never taught with long rules and tables; instead we discover it together through stories, games, role-plays, picture descriptions, debates and real-life situations.
A typical class with me (whether 1-to-1 or small group) usually follows this simple and effective structure:

Warm-up (3-5 min): Quick fun activity – tongue twisters, “Two truths and a lie”, or a short viral video discussion
Goal of the day (5 min): I clearly tell what new words/phrases/skills we will learn today and why they matter in real life
Main activity (20-25 min): Storytelling, dramatization, creative writing, picture-based speaking, mock interviews, movie scene reenactment – whatever fits the topic best
Focused practice + gentle correction (10-15 min): We repeat the new language in different contexts; I correct pronunciation and grammar instantly but kindly (never embarrass anyone)
Wrap-up & homework (5 min): Quick recap game + one tiny, enjoyable homework (record a 30-second voice note, write 3 funny sentences, watch a 2-minute English cartoon, etc.)

What makes my classes different:

Zero textbook boredom – we use stories, cartoons, songs, memes and movies the students already love
I speak only in English from the very first minute (even with absolute beginners) but explain with gestures, drawings and examples so everyone understands
Lots of personalized attention – every student gets recorded speaking feedback every week
Building real confidence: shy students who earlier feared speaking start chatting freely within 15-20 classes
Special “English-only promise” badge for kids who manage one full class without using a single mother-tongue word!

These classes are perfect for:

Class 4 to 8 children who want to score high in school and start loving English
Class 9-12 students preparing for board exams, school presentations or just better marks
College students and working professionals who need fluent speaking, email writing, interview skills or accent improvement

In short, I don’t just teach English – I help my students think, dream and express themselves confidently in English!
