About Denise
I am a qualified teacher who has experience working mainly with Thames Valley District School Board. During my time teaching in the classroom, I have built a very rewarding, successful tutoring service, which has developed into my sole passion and career as an instructor. I am a creative, energetic educator offering professional in-home or online one-on-one academic coaching for both elementary and secondary school students. My specialization is in English, and I am also qualified in and have a wealth of experience with tutoring students in various subjects, especially Math. My training and experience in ESL and Special Education add to my proficiency at providing targeted educational assistance.

I have years of successful experience working with students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12, both in the classroom and in a tutoring environment. I provide one-to-one academic assistance to students in their homes or at public locations. The lessons are usually one hour in length, occurring once or twice per week. I offer the option of either in-person or online meetings. As part of my procedure in delivering optimal academic support to my students, I supply valuable educational materials, which are tailored to the individual student’s needs. Details
My current rate is $50 per hourly in-person lesson, including any travel, preparation, and follow-up associated with each meeting.
I also offer the option of online lessons, executing a range of effective web-based tools, including an interactive whiteboard, at the rate of $45 per hourly session.
I provide all lesson curriculum materials unless a student requires or could benefit from a specific resource.
