About Atiqah
Hi all,
My name is Atiqah. I am a 29 year-old lawyer. I am the eldest of 4. Some may be wondering how is this relevant. As the eldest child, tutoring my younger siblings has always been part of my routine, albeit unremunerated. Although I do not have any formal prior experience, I do believe that the years I've spent on tutoring my siblings have made me equivalent to that of a formal tutor. I believe that it is important to make the class fun and engaging, especially in teaching subjects such as English, which requires interactive learning. In spite of my 9 to 5 job, I am very approachable and easy-going. I look forward to forming a pleasant and effective class with my students.

My teaching techniques include, but not limited to, verbal communications, starting from basic oral skills and advancing to native speaking level and professional proficiency. This entails oral practice and watching videos. I also emphasise on writing techniques, which includes, creative thinking, grammar check and vocabulary practices. My classes are typically 2 hours long and are suitable for primary and secondary school level.
I do not possess a formal qualification in the English language. However, I hold an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in law from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. I am a qualified lawyer in the weekdays, looking for a side hustle on the weekends. I have an excellent command of the English language, given my profession and educational history.
