About Damian
Hi, I’m a fully qualified primary teacher with several years of experience teaching in Key Stage. I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and reach their full potential, both academically and personally.
I believe that every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement and teaching approach. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with children of all abilities, including those who need additional support and those who require extra challenge. I pride myself on creating a positive, patient and engaging learning environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
I decided to become a tutor because I enjoy providing personalised support that can make a real difference to a child’s progress. In a classroom, time can often be limited, whereas tutoring allows me to tailor lessons to each child’s individual needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen key skills and develop a genuine enjoyment of learning.
My aim is not only to improve academic outcomes but also to help children become more independent, resilient learners who believe in their own abilities. Whether your child needs support to close gaps in learning, prepare for assessments, or simply gain confidence in a subject, I am committed to helping them succeed.
