As a tutor, I prefer organized and meaningful classes; after understanding the interests of the students, I like to create timetables and action plans tailored to them which allow efficient progress. I set a standard amount of homework that helps further develop their understanding. Most resources that I use are created by myself, although I like to make good use of online ones as well.
I have experience as I have achieved a Grade 9 in English Literature. My techniques and simply explained anf encourage students to come up with their own interpretations rather than relying on notes. My style of teaching encourages and enables students to adapt the skills and ensure they are independently making their own interpretations and justifying them.
My teaching style is very much student-centred and I have always tried to tailor my lesson plans according to the needs and interests of the students. I attend to many educational needs of the student, and I try to enforce a "What you learn easy, you forget easily too." motto.
I like to work with students to figure out what their strengths and weaknesses are and tailor lessons to their needs. My tutoring will be personalised as my goal is to ensure students get the help they require. All students are of different abilities and they can all improve in certain areas.
