About Astrid

I have been a school teacher for 6 years.
With a Master's degree in MEEF and a winner of the CRPE competition, I had the opportunity to teach in a variety of environments, including an international school in Lisbon, which allowed me to develop a rich and adaptable teaching method.

I have been giving private lessons for over 5 years to students of all levels. Whether in primary or secondary school, I accompany each student with patience and kindness to help them achieve their goals.
My year spent abroad also allowed me to improve my English, which I now happily pass on.

What sets me apart? My listening skills, my ability to adapt to the specific needs of each student and my desire to make each learning experience both effective and stimulating. My goal is not only to improve academic results, but also to strengthen the confidence and autonomy of my students.

About the lesson

Each student is unique, which is why I adopt a differentiated pedagogy, adjusting to their pace, needs and interests. My approach is based on listening, motivation and the desire to make learning enjoyable and accessible to all.

Teaching methods and techniques:
- Personalized teaching: I assess the strengths and needs of each student to adapt my lessons.
- Fun learning: When relevant, I integrate educational games to make the concepts more concrete and captivating.
- Effective methodology: I help middle school students organize their revisions, create summary sheets and acquire sustainable learning techniques.

Typical course outline:
- Quick assessment of difficulties or points to be explored further at the start of the session.
- Explanation of concepts with concrete examples, adapted to the student's level.
- Practical exercises to apply knowledge, with detailed corrections.
- End of course review to summarize what has been learned and define the objectives for the next session.

For whom?
- Primary school students: all subjects (French, mathematics, history, science, etc.).
- Middle school students: French, English (and mathematics for 6th and 5th grade).

Specific need: homework help, targeted support, preparation for assessments, strengthening of methodology, etc.
