About Rachael
I am a newly-qualified primary school teacher.
I hold a first class degree in Primary Education (BA Hons). I also have A Levels in English Language and English Literature.
I have taught children between the ages of four-nine in primary schools. During this time I taught all subjects within the Primary National Curriculum.
I have also additional experience volunteering in a wide range of different specialist SEND settings; supporting children aged 11-16 and young adults.

I teach within the Primary National Curriculum; offering lessons in English for children aged four to eleven.
I also offer lessons to older pupils or anyone wanting some support in developing their skills in oral or written English.
My techniques are visual, resource based and active. I don't want to have anyone just sitting listening, we learn best through doing! Lessons are adapted to individual needs and you can expect engaging activities each lesson. I value feedback after each lesson from the student. I'm here to help you succeed and you can tell me if something isn't quite right for you.
In my lessons it is most important to remember there are no stupid questions. Mistakes help us to learn. I am here to motivate you. It's a collaborative process.
