About Muhammad
I am Khalid Javed, a UK-qualified Science Teacher with QTS and a PGCE in Science, with more than 15 years of experience teaching within the British curriculum. I specialise in GCSE/IGCSE Science and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, and have experience teaching in UK schools, colleges and private tutoring settings.

My lessons follow a structured Understand → Practise → Apply → Assess → Improve approach.
I first identify what the student already knows and where difficulties exist. I then explain challenging concepts clearly using appropriate examples, diagrams, questioning and visual resources. Students practise with guidance before applying their knowledge independently to examination-style questions.
Assessment and feedback are integral to my teaching. I use questioning, formative assessment, examination questions and progress information to identify misconceptions and target areas requiring improvement.
My aim is to move students from:
“I don't understand this.”
to:
“I understand it and I know how to answer the question.”
