I am a qualified secondary science teacher who has been supporting students to reach their potential through tuition for the past 7 years and within education for the past 5.
I have a degree in biological sciences which i obtained in 2009, an A-Level in Biology, PE and English Literature gained in 2006.
Through tuition i have developed good subject knowledge and experience of Entrance examination requirements and subjects and am confident in my approach for tutoring such subjects.
I have always enjoyed education, hence why i am now a successful qualified teacher with 3 Outstanding Ofsted inspection ratings on the new framework, and tutoring is an extension of my passion for learning. My aim is to enthuse others and provide the opportunity for students to achieve their uttermost.
I have extensive experience of working with students who have SEN after two years supporting hearing impaired students in a mainstream school, a year teaching in a challenging mainstream school and a year and a half as head of department in a specialist deaf school.
I am an outgoing and empathetic teacher who has always been commended for the positive relationships that i am able to quickly develop with students which then facilitate positive working and create a good foundation for achieving results.
