About Michael

I have always been passionate about language and communication, and teaching allows me to share that passion with others. I believe that learning a language opens up new worlds, offering fresh perspectives and opportunities. The ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures is something that excites me, and I want to help my students experience that same sense of possibility through language learning.

For me, teaching is not just about conveying information—it's about inspiring confidence, fostering curiosity, and helping others reach their full potential. Seeing a student grasp a new concept or improve their skills gives me a great sense of satisfaction, and it motivates me to keep learning and growing alongside them. Ultimately, my goal is to make language learning accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for every student I work with.

About the lesson

Hello, I'm Michael Oberholzer, an experienced online language teacher with a passion for helping students master both Afrikaans and English. I hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, specializing in both languages, and have developed a versatile teaching approach that caters to diverse learning styles.

Whether you're looking to improve your speaking, reading, writing, or listening skills, I use a variety of methods, including interactive lessons, real-life context, multimedia resources, and personalized exercises, to ensure that each lesson is engaging and effective. I believe in creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment that encourages students to gain confidence and proficiency in both languages, all while making the process enjoyable.

No matter your current level or language goals, I am dedicated to helping you achieve success and fluency in Afrikaans and English. Let's embark on this learning journey together!
