About Rebecca
I am a qualified teacher for four years and confident in teaching Primary Maths and English. I have delivered and assessed national curriculum expectations in a mainstream education setting for a number of years and can use this knowledge to support individuals with gaps in learning. I have a Bachelor's degree in History and experience in the financial services industry before becoming a teacher. I am happy to tutor either KS1/2 Maths and up to GCSE/A Level English.

I've worked with a range of academic needs and learning styles with ages 5 to 11. I can help with Maths and English tutoring as well as preparing for SATs. I will start with assessing a base level of understanding in line with age-related expectations and assess where there are gaps in understanding. Together, there will be a bespoke and highly personalised approach to learning, aimed to support with misconceptions, raise attainment and develop confidence. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey!
If you are looking for A Level and GCSE English tutoring, we will begin by looking at your coursework, going through existing pieces and making adjustments. We will also look at how to structure essays and answer essay questions, to improve on how to succinctly explain and structure arguments.
