About Ruth
I have taught a range of students at a variety of academic levels. My experience includes working with SEN and those struggling with mental health. I trained in primary but I have an extra 4 years experience in secondary. Before I did my PGCE, I had training in teaching English as a Foreign language. For 2 years I worked as Head of the English Department for the Buckinghamshire, county-wide PRU, Aspire, so I have a very up-to-date knowledge and stock of resources. My two years of subject-specialism training was with the Princes Teaching Institute (PTI).
