About Girisha

I am a university graduate with a strong background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, combined with a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students. With a solid foundation in Maths, Additional Maths, and Physics, I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations.

I have experience guiding IGCSE students to improve both their understanding and exam performance. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, strengthening fundamentals, and developing critical thinking skills rather than just memorization.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and needs. I believe every student has the potential to excel when given the right guidance and support, and I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes as part of the learning process.

In addition, I place strong emphasis on exam techniques, structured problem-solving, and time management skills, ensuring students are well-prepared not only academically but also mentally for their examinations. I also incorporate real-life applications of concepts where possible, helping students see the relevance of what they are learning beyond the classroom.

My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent academic results but also to foster a deeper interest and appreciation for the subjects, empowering them to become independent and confident learners.

I offer structured and engaging online lessons for IGCSE Maths, Additional Maths, and Physics, designed to help students fully understand key concepts and perform confidently in exams. Each session typically lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours and is conducted using interactive tools such as digital whiteboards, past paper discussions, and real-time problem solving.

Lessons are tailored to the student’s individual level, focusing on:

Strengthening core concepts
Improving problem-solving techniques
Exam strategies and time management
Practice with past year questions

I ensure that every lesson is student-centered, encouraging active participation, questions, and critical thinking. Regular feedback is provided to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

These lessons are suitable for students aged 14–18, or anyone studying at the IGCSE level who needs additional support or wants to achieve higher grades.
